THIS IS A DEFINING MOMENT FOR HUMANITY

An Emmy Awarding Winning team will produce an epic and spectacular global benefit concert to celebrate and support the worlds girls.
This can be as ambitious as Live Aid for global engagement, global connectivity and local impact. A lasting legacy that will keep giving back to the future every International Girls Day. Together we will create one of the most significant Humanitarian campaigns in modern history.

I dedicated my life to producing Women’s Day Live (WDL) and World Girls Day, to harness the power of media and celebrity to mobilize a global movement for girls’ education and women’s global economic empowerment. We have the collective power to do it. That time is now.

This is my “I have a dream”. I had prophesied this attack on women’s right and freedoms and on democracy itself. I made a vow that I would protect Democracy at all costs. I decided that empowered women and educated girls were the solution. My indominable will not let me give up given the high stakes. I have fought for justice, equality and freedom all my life. I grew up in an oppressive Communist regime. I was the wrong gender, nationality and religion. I never wanted any girl child to experience this kind of violence and hate. WDL was a CGI commitment at the invitation of President Clinton. Archbishop Desmond Tutu of blessed memory was my Patron for WDL. A magnificent man of great vision and heart, who said “Let’s Make this Humanity’s Finest Hour’. We appeal to your vision and heart to help launch this ambitious global effort now. The future is in our hands. Lili’s Epic Quest.
